The Cybex Warbot X000 Series (Mechatronics Corp in collaboration with the Cyberprime and
Borgtech Corporations) of war machines is a highly flexible platform. Appendages can be
exchanged for various units for different missions and operations. Similar to the earlier 6000
series of general purpose bots, limbs and parts of limbs can be exchanged with different limb
types. This direct plug and deploy interface means that weapon units can be personalised
with an access code to prevent their use by other parties. The unit above is equipped with
electron beam cannons and caterpillar tracks, in addition to 4 Androm X-9 particle cannons
(PCs) on its head turret.
Head units or turrets can also be exchanged. The one above is equipped with advanced
sensor and processing arrays for reconnaissance and surveillance. Its advanced sensors are
also useful for detecting cloaked enemies. Its right arm is equipped with a sonic beam lance
capable of cutting through armour at range. The unit below is equipped an advanced tracking
and interceptor system capable of emitting up to 6 laser beams simultaneously against
multiple targets such as incoming missiles.
The legs can be replaced with other motile units, such as the quadrupedal 'Centaur' carriage
above. The adhesive feet enable the warbot to scale both smooth and roof vertical and
overhanging horizontal surfaces.
